WSZView is designed to view Nullsoft WinAmp 2.xx skins using Lister built-in into the Total Commander by C.Ghisler.
Use the right mouse button for context menu to choose: view preset, create new preset, or view skin properties. You may also use hotkeys Ctrl-0..9 to switch between presets and Ctrl-Shift-0..9 to assign new ones. Double-click on skin in Lister window displays the content of readme.txt (if there is such file in skin) in copyable mode.
You may save your own presets (opened windows, their position and sizes and some items) from WinAmp. When creating a preset, WinAmp must run non-minimized. For creating presets only WinAmp 2.xx can be used. Last used preset is saved as default and will be used next time you'll view a skin.
Sometimes the skin is not detected as skin and shown as binary data. This happens in 3 cases:
The best solution is to force Lister option "View-> Image/Multimedia". If it is not a skin (or WSZView does not know how to interpret the file provided) you'll see a blank screen.
See section WSZView of lsplugin.ini file (or wsz.ini file in Windows directory in some strange cases).
Sets background color for the plugin
Automatic view of skins that contain bitmaps larger than 1Mb (up to 4Mb) and of skins that do not have important parts (main, equalizer and list editor). This option does not change the detection method if the provided file is actually a WinAmp skin. Thus the option "View->Image/Multimedia" of Lister is more powerful. After all, if you still see a blank screen -- it is not a valid skin file.
Default preset number. The number between 00-09 is for builtin presets. The number between 10-19 is for user defined presets.
